About Us
Learn ‘n Move Childcare Center was established through the collaboration between the Anne Carlsen Center and TNT Kids Fitness. Our parent organizations have a rich history of knowledge and experience working in child development focused on inclusion and the importance of physical activity and movement. With their guidance, our facility is able to engage in collaborative relationships within our community and commit to high quality care and development for the children we serve.
We are a non-profit organization serving children in the community and commits to respectful and collaborative relationships with our families, partners and donors. We emphasize the importance of physical activity, movement, and nutrition in early learning and pride ourselves in providing a safe and caring environment. We implement the use of Creative curriculum which enables children to develop confidence as well as creativity and critical thinking skills featuring exploration and discover as a way of learning.

About Us
Learning
Learn ‘n Move Childcare Center utilizes a variety of tools to assess and ensure success with a focus on kindergarten readiness. We use the Creative Curriculum as a base because it exercises the best practices in early learning. Within the curriculum, assessments are embedded to measure each individual child’s success. Programming is customized to each child’s sensory and learning needs, with movement and physical activity playing a critical role in the Learn ‘n Move environment. In addition, the center-based setting naturally provides opportunities for children to learn critical life skills such as social skills, cooperation, collaboration and sharing.
Staffing
Our teachers meet or exceed all standards required by the State of North Dakota for licensed child-care providers. We strive to have all staff trained in CPR & First Aid and Childcare Physical Activity. Learn ‘n Move Childcare Center also uses a catering service that prepares and provides healthy and nutritious snacks and meals that will meet the USDA nutritional guidelines for childcare.

Communication
Brightwheel is an app we use to communicate with parents while your child is in our center. This program allows you to see a snapshot of your child’s day. Teachers may log meals, naps, and diapering/toileting for parents to see. The teachers will also log a snapshot of the activities that were completed daily. This app is a great way to stay connected with you child throughout the day!
